Los San Francisco 49ers anunciaron el da de hoy que han firmado a LSJon Weeksa una extensin de un ao.
Weeks (1.77m, 109.7kg) lleg a la NFL inicialmente al firmar con los Houston Texans como agente libre no drafteado el 28 de abril de 2010. A travs de su carrera de 16 aos (2010-25) con los Texans (2010-24) y 49ers (2025), Weeks ha aparecido en 261 partidos y ha registrado 42 tacleos de equipos especiales y un baln suelto recuperado en equipos especiales. Tambin ha aparecido en 16 partidos de postemporada registrando un tacleo en equipos especiales. Despus de firmar con los San Francisco como agente libre en 2025, Weeks apareci en 17 partidos con los 49ers en los que registr dos tacleos de equipos especiales y fue nombrado al segundo Pro-Bowl en su carrera (2016 & 2026). Tambin apareci en dos partidos de postemporada.
Originario de Bethpage, NY, de 40 aos, Weeks asisti a la Universidad de Baylor (2004-07) donde jug 34 partidos como long snapper y registr 7 tacleos en equipos especiales.
