"I didn't know what to expect when I arrived here in Sydney. But I have to be honest with you, it's a very competitive game, a very competitive league," Gucci told

The 31-year-old Iranian international striker gave high praise to the A-League as a whole.

"You have similarities (with the English Championship), it's very physical... and there's not one easy game," he stated.

Moving onto the A-League Grand Final, Reza reflects on the 'crazy' semi-final 6-1 thrashing over Melbourne Victory.

"Everything we hoped and wished for came true that night," former Iran striker added.
